George Todd, of
Georgetown, is one of the most determined individuals KSI's staff
has ever seen. He was referred to KSI in 1984 by the Division
of Developmental Disabilities Services and has proven that
determination yields results.
Determination,
persistence, optimism, and enthusiasm are character strengths that
make George unique. He works hard and seldom complains, unless
he's complaining because there's not enough work to do. George is
his own best advocate and is always willing to try any new job.
He said, "I'll do what I have to do to get the job done."
George has worked
on a variety of jobs through KSI's Facility-Based Work Services
Program, including this one for the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in
Smyrna. He has also worked on different work crews in the
community through KSI's Community- Based Work Services Program.
In September 2006, George became part of a KSI work crew at Playtex
Products in Dover.
In his spare time,
George likes to stay up late watching television. He also
looks forward to spending time with his family. They like
going out to dinner together. |
