Winifred Scott, of
Harrington, practically bubbles over with enthusiasm and energy.
She was referred to KSI in 2004 by the Division of Developmental
Disabilities Services.
"I like coming to work
every day with a smile on my face," said Winifred. "My mom used to
tell me that no one wanted to see a frown. So I make it a
point to smile at everyone and share my happiness every day," she
continued.
Winifred is
versatile and very skilled at folding tee shirts, precisely, for
Great Graphics, a company located out of Dover. Although she
said her favorite job is making boxes for dog treats, Winifred is
always eager to help work on any other contract.
Her zest for
recreation parallels her zest for work. Winifred is very
social and loves being around people. She likes talking to her
friends and family on the telephone. She also likes shopping
and is very aware of coordinating her outfits so that she has
matching accessories, right down to the socks.
Also an athlete,
Winifred loves to swim and participates in Special Olympics. |
