William Gibbs, of
Dover, is a friendly, outgoing, and flexible young man. He was
referred to KSi in 2003 by the Division of Developmental
Disabilities Services.
Will, who works on the
KSI work crew at Proctor & Gamble Dover Wipes Company, said "I love
working at P&G. I make more money on this crew, and I like the
challenging work here."
While his primary
responsibility on the P&G multipack line is to supply refill wipes
onto a moving conveyor, he also erects empty boxes, when needed, and
loads them into a tape machine. Will's supervisors appreciate
his flexibility and dedication.
Will sets goals and
strives to reach them. He wanted to live independently, and,
with supports appropriate to his needs, Will now lives in his own
apartment with a roommate. Will enjoys his leisure time as
much as he loves his job at P&G.
When not at work,
Will enjoys taking his girlfriend out to dinner or dancing. He
also likes to make his own rap CD's, and he plays video games on his
Playstation. |
