William Jefferson
Townsend prefers to be called Jeff. He was referred to KSI in
2004 by the Division of Developmental Disabilities Services and
lives in Camden-Wyoming.
Always punctual, Jeff
is also versatile and caring. As he gets ready to work on a
job assembling cartridges and caps for DENTSPLY / Caulk, he takes
advantage of the opportunity to greet his supervisors and friends.
He is well informed and knows who is out sick or on vacation, and
makes it a point to inquire how they're doing upon their return.
Jeff likes a fairly
quiet atmosphere and often chooses to take his breaks in an office
with one of his supervisors, rather than in the breakroom. He
likes working at KSI and has earned several certificates for perfect
attendance.
Once a resident of
the Stockley Center, Jeff has since been introduced to a world of
new experiences. Jeff loves the providers he lives with and
often talks about Brian and Amy. Jeff's supervisors at KSi
have seen him blossom, become more independent and self-confident.
He continues to make other people on of this priorities, making
their day as he inquires about their well-being. |
