William Gomez, of
Bridgeville, is one of the newest members of the KSI Cartridge
Service work crew. He was referred to KSI in September 2005 by
the Division of Developmental Disabilities Services.
Since William's
involvement with KSI, his family said they have noticed that William
has gained more confidence and independence. His supervisors
at KSI have noticed this as well. They have also found William
to be a quick learner.
His primary
responsibility in the cartridge service department is cleaning the
various components from disassembled cartridges. However, he
has also been cross-trained to reassemble some of the nearly 60
different cartridges that KSi remanufactures. William can also
be found sorting and putting away parts.
Family and church
are important to William. When he is not working at KSI,
William is very active in helping his family around the house.
His weekends are largely occupied by attending the Maranatha Church
of God in Seaford with his family. William also like to play
soccer with his friends. |
