Inez Johnson, of
Dover, was referred to KSI in May of 2006 by the Division of
Developmental Disabilities Services. She likes to be called Neecy.
Fastenal is one of her
favorite jobs. In this picture, Neecy is putting together a
five-piece assembly for Fastenal Company. She also likes working on
jobs that involve packing - whether unpacking or packing, she likes
it. Neecy looks forward to working so she can earn her own money.
Neecy’s smile and
eager greeting indicate the friendly, giving person that she is.
People are special to Neecy and she likes to help them. She is a
charter member of the Aktion Club, a community service club for
adults with physical and mental disabilities, sponsored by the Dover
Kiwanis Club.
Watch that smile light
up her face when Neecy is getting ready to go to a dance. She likes
dressing up and getting her hair and nails done professionally. With
a smile and a chuckle, she shakes her hips from side to side, and
says “I’m gonna go shake, shake, shake.” KSI’s annual picnic and
Christmas party are great opportunities for Neecy to exercise her
dancing abilities. |
