KSI Names Maureen Yocum Staff Of The Month

Kent-Sussex Industries, Inc. (KSI) named Maureen Yocum, of Greenwood, staff of the month for March 2006.  She was recently recognized during a ceremony held at KSI. 

Mrs. Yocum has been employed at KSI since 1989.  As a Program Manager, she is responsible for providing case management services to nearly 30 program participants.  As she implements the supports necessary for each individual, her deep concern for each person’s welfare is obvious.  Mrs. Yocum is also ready to assist other staff members whenever she is called upon.  She exemplifies teamwork and a “can do” attitude.  That “can do” attitude follows her beyond KSI as she provides care to an individual with disabilities in her home.  She also serves others through her involvement with the Greenwood Lions Club.  As employee of the month, Mrs. Yocum becomes eligible to be selected as employee of the year.
