KSI Recognizes Donors
Kent-Sussex Industries, Inc. (KSI) hosted its third recognition event
for the KSI Make A Difference Society on Thursday, May 11, 2006, at
Sunnybrae Mansion in Milford.
Donors were presented with women’s and men’s pins displaying the
program’s logo.More
than 40 people attended the recognition event which was hosted to honor
those individuals who have committed a gift to the KSI Endowment Fund or
the KSI Planned Giving Program. The
purpose of the endowment fund is to ensure that the services being
provided today by KSI to individuals with disabilities will continue to
be provided by KSI in the future.
KSI
started it’s Planned Giving Program in 1999. To date, KSI has had over
50 cash gifts committed to their endowment fund, and 24 planned gifts
committed to the Planned Giving program. Five named funds have also been
established. These are The Velma Steward Fund, The Founding Members
Fund, The Clifford T. Crouch Fund, The Judy Spiegel Memorial Fund, and
The Swierczewski Fund.
Craig
Crouch, KSI CEO stated, “It is wonderful to see how the Make A
Difference Society has grown over the years. We our proud of the
confidence you all have in KSI and what we do everyday. I hope that
this society will continue to grow and carry on the mission of KSI for
years to come.”
KSI’s mission is to provide supports and services which help individuals
who need specialized assistance to obtain and maintain an optimal level
of employment. If
