Pat
Weaver and John Garnick Receive KSI Champion Award
Kent-Sussex Industries, Inc., (KSI) presented the KSI Champion Award to
two area businessmen, Pat Weaver of Playtex Products and John Garnick of
Procter & Gamble Dover Wipes Company, at its 13th Annual
Business Appreciation Awards Breakfast.
KSI
Vice President, Jayson Crouch described the characteristics of a KSI
Champion. He said, “Both of these men are true KSI Champions. A KSI
Champion is a person who fully believes in the mission of KSI and the
ABILITIES of people with disabilities. This person aggressively looks
for opportunities within their organization for contracts and work
opportunities for KSI. They willingly and enthusiastically share their
KSI experiences with others in hopes of creating additional employment
opportunities for people with disabilities. This person’s efforts have
had a significant impact on the lives of others. We are fortunate to
have two KSI Champions this year.”
KSI is a vocational rehabilitation organization whose mission is to
provide supports and services which help individuals who need
specialized assistance to obtain and maintain an optimal level of
employment. KSI has worked with area businesses since 1962 to
provide employment. Today, KSI provides training and employment to
nearly 250 individuals per year. For more information contact
