KSI Helps Rehoboth Beach Lions Club
Kent-Sussex Industries, Inc. (KSI) recently donated 98 pounds of can
tabs to the Rehoboth Beach Lions Club.
Lions Clubs throughout Delaware are very supportive of KSI. There is a
strong bond, however, with some of the more local Lions Clubs, like
Rehoboth Beach. This Club gives an annual donation to KSI, they
regularly attend KSI special events, and they invite a KSI
representative to their meetings regularly so they can stay abreast of
KSI happenings. When KSI learned that these Lions were collecting can
tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House, KSI got on board with the
project. Last year KSI donated can tabs to the Milford Lions Club to
help them raise funds for the kidney dialysis center in Milford. KSI
supports local service groups whenever it can.
Celebrating 45
years of service, KSI is a not for profit agency, providing vocational
training and employment services to individuals with disabilities
throughout Kent and Sussex Counties. KSI is committed to making all
reasonable accommodations in order to ensure that our programs and
services are as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.
KSI offers tours on a regular basis. You are encouraged to see how KSI
touches your community. To learn more about KSI, call Alicia Hollis,
Director of Community Relations, at (302) 422-4014 ext. 3015.

On behalf of KSI, Jean Schieferstein (standing left to right), Andrew
Townsley, and Thomas Grecay, along with Ashley Lutton (seated, far
right) presented 98 pounds of can tabs to representatives from the
Rehoboth Beach Lions Club, (seated left to right) Ken and Mozelle
Pyle, and Jack Brinckmeyer. |
