Tina Hollis Named Kent County Employee of the Year by Governor’s
Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities
Tina Hollis, of Milford, was selected by the Governor’s Committee on
Employment of People with Disabilities (GCEPD) as the Kent County
Employee of the Year. Nominated for this award by Kent-Sussex
Industries, Inc. (KSI), Ms. Hollis was recognized at a luncheon in
Wilmington attended by approximately 300 guests.
The GCEPD applauds businesses and individuals who support the employment
of people with disabilities. It also recognizes the efforts of those
individuals who overcome challenges from their disabilities. Ms. Hollis,
who has received services from KSI for 28 years, is currently employed
on a KSI work crew located at Kraft Foods. Ms. Hollis looks forward to
going to work and has been recognized for having monthly perfect
attendance on several occasions.
KSI provides training and employment opportunities to individuals in
Kent and Sussex Counties. KSI provides supported employment, community
based work services, and facility based work services. To learn more
