KSI Names Sub-Contract Appreciation Award Recipients
Kent-Sussex Industries, Inc. (KSI) recently presented its Sub-Contract
Appreciation Award to five area businesses during its 14th
Annual Business Appreciation Awards Breakfast.
B & G Foods, Inc., DENTSPLY/ Caulk, Fastenal Company, Perdue Farms
Incorporated, and Pinnacle Foods Corporation received KSI’s Sub-Contract
Appreciation Award. They also received a Senate Tribute sponsored by
Senator Gary Simpson and a House of Representatives Tribute sponsored by
Rep. George Carey and Rep. Bob Walls.
KSI, a vocational rehabilitation organization celebrating 45 years of
providing services, provides training and employment to individuals with
disabilities. KSI also completes a variety of sub-contracts for the
business community which includes, but is not limited to, assembling,
bulk mailing, collating, counting, inspecting, labeling, packaging,
repackaging, and shrink wrapping. These businesses were recognized for
their dedication to KSI and the employment of individuals with
disabilities.
