Businesses Recognized For Supporting KSI’s Industrial Work Crew
Program
Kent-Sussex Industries, Inc. (KSI) recently presented Industrial Work
Crew Program Appreciation Awards to Delaware Veterans Home, Intervet,
Inc., Kraft Foods Global, Inc., and Playtex Products, Inc.
KSI, a vocational rehabilitation organization celebrating 45 years of
providing services, provides training and employment opportunities to
individuals with disabilities. Delaware Veterans Home, Intervet, Inc.,
Kraft Foods Global, Inc., and Playtex Products, Inc. have each provided
community-based employment opportunities through KSI’s Industrial Work
Crew Program. This program is a successful match for businesses who
want to have a particular job completed at their own location. A work
crew consists of a KSI supervisor, and a group of program participants
who work on location at the host company.
In addition to a plaque presented by KSI, these businesses also received
a Senate Tribute sponsored by Senator Gary Simpson and a Tribute from
the House of Representatives sponsored by Representatives George Carey
and Bob Walls. For more information about KSI, contact Alicia Hollis at
(302) 422-4014 ext. 3015 for a personal tour. For more information about
KSI’s Industrial Work Crew Program, contact Dan Robinette at (302)
422-4014 ext. 3024.
