KSI Presents Awards To Area Businesses

     Kent-Sussex Industries, Inc. (KSI), an organization providing employment opportunities to Delawareans with disabilities since 1962, recognized 14 area businesses at its 15^th Annual Business Appreciation Awards Breakfast held at Shawnee Country Club in Milford. In addition to receiving a plaque from KSI, these businesses also received a Senate Tribute sponsored by Senator Gary Simpson and a House of Representatives Tribute sponsored by Representatives Bob Walls and George Carey.
     Appreciation awards were presented as follows. Laboratory Corporation of America and Sussex County Council were recognized for their support of KSI Cartridge Service. Recognized for support of KSI’s Supported Employment Program were Delaware Veterans Home, Metro Food, and Wal-Mart of Milford. Del-One, DENTSPLY/Caulk, Fastenal Company, Perdue Farms Inc., and the State of Delaware Printing & Publishing were presented appreciation awards for sub-contracting with KSI. The Industrial Work Crew Program award was presented to Energizer Personal Care, Intervet/Schering Plough Animal Health, and Kraft Foods Global Inc. KSI’s prestigious Partnership award was presented to Procter & Gamble The Dover Wipes Company.
