KSI Receives Grant From DFRC
7/2/2015 - Kent-Sussex Industries, Inc. (KSI) recently received a grant from DFRC, (Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens with Intellectual Disabilities) which will enable KSI to upgrade its participant computer lab with touch screen computers.
It was also DFRC funding that enabled KSI to open a computer lab in June 2009. This donation shows their dedicated and generous support of KSI. For many years DFRC has supported KSI and the people with disabilities that we serve. In 1962, it was funding from DFRC that enabled KSI to open as the Golden Opportunity Center. They have been active partners over the years, and continue to help enrich the lives of those KSI serves.
KSI is a not for profit agency providing vocational training, employment, supported employment, and day habilitation services to individuals with disabilities throughout Kent and Sussex Counties. KSI is committed to making all reasonable accommodations in order to ensure that its programs and services are as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.
