KSI Recognizes October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month
10/6/2015 - Kent-Sussex Industries, Inc. (KSI) recognizes October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). The purpose of NDEAM is to educate the public, especially the business community, about issues related to disability employment while celebrating and recognizing the contributions made by employees with disabilities.
Providing services since 1962, KSI is a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist people with disabilities in the pursuit of their potential in employment and meaningful participation in their communities. KSI provides options that include vocational training, employment, supported employment, and day habilitation services. While providing person centered programs that target the needs of each individual with a disability, KSI also provides a valuable resource for the business community.
