Highest Scoring Team Comes Out Winners of KSI 3 Club Golf Tournament
10/15/2015 - KSI’s 26th Annual 3 Club Golf Tournament, held September 16th at Jonathan’s Landing in Magnolia, was made possible with support from major sponsors, L & W Insurance Agency, Citizens Bank & Discover Bank; golf cart sponsor, Ethel Graham; & support sponsors, Delmarva Broadcasting Co., AT&T, Sharp Energy, & i.g. Burton & Co.
Traditionally unique, this tournament gives a prize to the highest scoring team as well as the first, second, and third low net and low gross teams. The highest scoring team was M&T Bank. Each person on this team, Rob Bunting, Gene Malone, Keith Atkins, & Steve Loughren, received a prize package featuring product from two of KSI’s business partners, Rope It Golf, and Fordham & Dominion Brewing, rounded out with a small cooler and some assorted snacks.
First place low gross went to a team sponsored by Ethel Graham with a 56. Second place low gross to National HVAC Service with a 58 and third place low gross was awarded to BNY Mellon Team with a 62. First place low net was awarded to Artesian Water with a 53.7, second place with a net of 56.9 went to i.g. Burton & Co., and third place went to Excel Business Systems with a 58.9.
Sponsors of the 19th “Hors d’oeuvres” Hole were Subway, Pep-Up, Country Life Homes, & Dover Federal Credit Union. The putting contest sponsor was Tidewater Utilities. Driving range sponsors were Atlantic Concrete, Cincinnati Insurance, Delaware Electric Cooperative, Mutual of America & Triglia Transportation. Lunch sponsors were First State Manufacturing, Growmark FS, LLC-Shopworks, Law Office of Jeffery J. Larrimore, San Diego, CA, National HVAC Service, Procter & Gamble Dover Wipes, Randy C. Mitchell Painting, Regional Builders, & the Pill Box Pharmacy, LLC. Mulligans sponsors were Weller’s Utility Trailers, Rowland, Johnson & Co., & Community Bank Delaware. Scoreboard sponsors include BDK, Inc., Delmarva Power, Excel Business Systems, Kenton Ruritan Club, Mutual of America, NAPA Wright’s Auto Parts, and National HVAC Service.
