KSI's United Way Campaign Results in Record Donation and a Bald CEO
11/10/2015 - KSI is a United Way partner agency and ran its annual campaign from October 7th through the 21st. The goal was to reach $5,500. KSI CEO, B. Craig Crouch, encouraged his staff to reach this goal by committing to shaving his head and beard - when the goal was met. If, he said, our agency could raise over $6,000 he would do the shave in front of staff. Staff rose to the challenge.
KSI Board member, Bettie Campbell got in on the excitement too, and offered to do the shave for him. On Wednesday, November 4, at 3:15 p.m. the boss went bald. Staff, Board, and the management team all got excited and involved to reach the goal by making pay roll deduction pledges, contributing to a bake sale, silent auction, casual wear day, and a penny war. All efforts combined totaled $6,190.52 to be donated to United Way of Delaware on behalf of KSI.
