KSI Recognizes November as Nonprofit Awareness Month
11/4/2016 - Kent-Sussex Industries, Inc. (KSI) recognizes November as Nonprofit Awareness Month.
Providing services for 55 years, KSI is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist people with disabilities in the pursuit of their potential in employment and meaningful participation in their communities. KSI provides options that include vocational training, employment, supported employment, community integration, transportation, and day habilitation services. While providing person centered programs that address the needs of each individual with a disability, KSI also provides a valuable resource for the business community. Find out how you can support Nonprofit Awareness Month.
In addition to the 140 sites we visit for community integration and exploration, KSI would like to thank our partner nonprofit agencies where we volunteer for helping to create opportunities for people with disabilities. We currently work with The Food Bank of Delaware, God's Way thrift store, Philadelphia Pentecostal Holiness Apostolic Church, Abbott’s Mill Nature Center, Clear Space Theater, Delaware Veterans Home, Milford Garden Club, Delaware Hospice, St. John’s Catholic Church, and Christ Episcopal Church.
