KSI Names Tom Lyons Outstanding Staff Person of the Year 2014
7/1/2015 - Kent-Sussex Industries, Inc. (KSI) recognized Tom Lyons, of Felton, as Outstanding Staff Person of the Year 2014 with its Clifford T. Crouch Excellence In Service Award during KSI’s 53rd Annual Awards Dinner.
Mr. Lyons joined the KSI staff in 1990, as a floor supervisor. In his 25 years with the agency, he was also a work crew supervisor at the DuPont Company in Seaford where we salvaged nylon from fumble tubes in 1994. He was promoted in 2000 to Community Based Program Manager, the position he holds today.
KSI appreciates the flexibility and dedication that Mr. Lyons brings to his position. KSI CEO, B. Craig Crouch said, “Tom’s job is almost a 24 hour a day job, seven days per week. He supports the individuals employed on work crews at Kraft Foods, Merck Animal Health, and Procter & Gamble Dover Wipes Company.” Crouch continued, “Many people don’t realize that we staff crews at P&G for the 7-3 shift as well as the 3-11 shift. Tom helps people to live a more full and rich life. He takes his work very seriously, and is also a great family man.”
