Jody Clendaniel was recently named KSI Staff of the Fourth Quarter 2026. Jody started out as a DSP at KSI and moved up to Case Manager fairly quickly because of his enthusiastic dedication to KSI’s participants. The understanding he has for the people he serves every day helps them create more positive perspectives on their lives. He works continually to uplift others as part of his job.

Jody goes well above and beyond his duties as Case Manager. He actively seeks out community sites to which trips can be planned for enriching participants’ experiences. He arrives early many days to help with floor cleaning to create a cleaner environment for participants. He’s an experienced forklift operator and will help move materials for the production area as well as train other staff on forklift safety.

Recently, Jody started regular sessions in daily living skills like cooking and laundry in KSI’s new Life Skills Center in Milford. He’s preparing participants for more independence by challenging them to learn new skills that they can use for fuller living.

In the opinions of staff members and participants, Jody’s caring and kindness can’t be measured. KSI is proud to have him as part of the team. Jody is eligible for Staff of the Year 2026, which will be announced during the KSI Annual Dinner on July 9.
